Refunds & Returns

I take the greatest care and quality control to make sure your purchase is of a high quality standard and packaged securely. If you are not happy with your order please get in contact and I’ll be happy to assist any problems and come to a resolution. Below you will find my policies on cancelations, returns and refunds.

Cancelations

If you wish to cancel your order, please do so within 24hours of making the order. Once the order is shipped I will not accept any cancellations. If you do cancel your order within the timeframe before it has shipped I will happily refund the order in full.  

Returns & Refunds

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Refunds will not be given if the item isn’t returned. If there is a problem with your order and the resolution is a refund, for the refund to be given the order must be returned back at the buyer’s expense and securely, it’s best to also include tracking for your order. 

Once the item is received back it will be inspected for any damage. If the item isn’t secured enough for shipping and as a result gets damaged in transit, will void the refund. If the item is valued over $100 it’s best to purchase some post insurance. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We do not offer refunds on digital/downloadable content. 

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards (unless none of it has been spent)
  • Downloadable content
  • Cards. (Seriously these items are so small and cheap do you really want that hassle of having to send it back?)
  • Items on Sale
  • Custom orders and commissions
  • Mouse Pads (at the moment due to Covid) 

Accepted Refunds and Exchanges

Given the subject matter of what is being sold I only accept refunds or exchanges based on the following:

  • Dramatic colour difference than what was expected. I try my best to portray the products in their accurate colours, however some slight differences may occur. I will only accept refunds/exchanges if the colour difference is really dramatic. This doesn’t include tonal values but say if you were expecting yellow and received purple instead.
  • Items damaged in transit to you, with proof.
  • Wrong product. If the wrong product is sent to you by mistake.

What is not accepted

  • Change of mind
  • Didn’t arrive in time/shipping delays.
  • Sent to the wrong address. (I’ll send to the exact address I am given. It is your responsibility to check if it’s correct) 
  • Damage caused by misuse.
  • Used product for a long time and it wears down.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged or sent in error. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at mttwoodart@gmail.com 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Again it is advised to package the item securely to avoid damage. Do not roll prints, lay them flat between two bits of strong cardboard. Purchase tracking for large items and get insurance for items over $100.

 If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
